Thank you for all the emails. It’s always nice to know somebody cares ;)

Where have I been?

Good question…

Actually I’ve been halfway across the world and back.

About a month and a half ago, I got an invitation from a friend and mentor of mine Jad Bitar of myeasyscripts.com, the incentive marketing specialists, to go and work from his new offices in Cairo Egypt.  Yes, in the picture I’m wearing a white hat, we all have to, once in a while ;)

Alex in Egypt

Always ready for an adventure, I took him up and have just now returned from an extenuating trip through Egypt and Greece.

It certainly didn’t help that I threw out my back with my suitcase upon arriving in Montreal.

Anyways, a couple thousand emails later, I’m back and hungry for more. I’ll keep this short because I have some “real work” cut out for me, but it’s been great.

Egypt is a beautiful country with perhaps the warmest people I have ever had the honour of spending time with. The temples and pyramids are a must see and for anyone paranoid about terrorism and that kind of thing, I can say I’ve never felt so uniformly welcomed.

I sometimes have difficulty believing I can travel around the world like this without having to be accountable to anybody. And the income sources keep whirring in the background…

Ah the internet, what would I do without you?

Speaking of income sources, time to open up some new ones, so I’ll see you in a bit.

All in all, I am glad you had fun over here and happy to have worked with you side by side instead of just online. This was a very rewarding experience for me as well!

    Jad,

I won’t forget a minute of it. It was great.

You’re a shining example of efficient business and the team you are building is impressive, not to mention the great offices.

    Thanks again for having me.

    Alex

It must be nice…I can’t wait til I get to that point. Until then, I’m plugged into the Internet full-time, hehe.

I’ve been wanting to go to Egypt as long as I can remember. I’ve got tons of books…maps…even some papyrus paintings. Back in the day, I had a metal band and we used to write about “The Valley of the Kings” and topics like that…fun stuff.

One day though…it’ll be a world wide tour with plenty of stops in all the historical places. Egypt..Peru..Babylon…you name it. (I’ve knocked a few out…but only as a kid) Time to experience these places as an adult.

    Yeah, Egypt was amazing.

Seeing as how you live in Japan, I know you have a taste for adventure too.

That’s what makes IM so great is you can do it from anywhere in the world. That’s also what fuels a rabid desire for early retirement.

The world is far too vast and fascinating to live a standard life…
