Get Google Ads Free
I was going to review this product last of the three, but upon reading it again, I couldn’t hold back any more.
This product should come with a serious health warning. If you’re allergic to hype, false claims, extreme embellishment or paying good money to buy a sales pitch, keep your distance.
In the beginning of the book (well not quite the beginning, you’ll see why in a moment), the author explains the premise for the product.
In a survey he ran where people were asked what was the single thing they wanted most to make money online. The answer was “how to get Google Ads Free”. I can’t speculate as to the accuracy of this survey but if you offered that particular choice among many others, I could see how many people would find it attractive.
Would these people be foolish enough to actually buy a product that promises such a thing? Probably not, since it’s rather self-evident that Google isn’t going to suddenly cut off their only profitable venture by giving their ads away.
Wrong, oh how wrong.
Folks this is sad. Almost heartbreaking. The product now has a gravity on clickbank of over 700. It’s the most popular product on the world’s most popular digital marketplace.
Are people really that dumb? That Naïve? That Lazy? It sure seems like it.
If you read the pale grey lettered disclaimer at the bottom of the Get Google Ads Free sales letter, you find this text:
“The system it involves neither has anything to do with any “AdWords™ and/or AdSense™ credits or vouchers,” nor the direct provision by Google to the customer any direct free advertising at anytime; nor any free pay-per-click or otherwise paid-for advertising directly; but rather is a system that if applied correctly and properly and effectively, and as instructed per the author’s direction, may allow for the elimination of the burden of costs pertaining to that customer’s pay-per-click and/or otherwise paid-for advertising expense(s)”
Let me shorten that for you:
If you make more money from your ads than you pay for them, you get them free.
Grrr, I really feel like some dirty words want to sneak down from my hands into the keyboard and onto this review.
The incredible offensiveness of this product does not stop here though. In fact, it’s just getting started.
As you view the first page of content in the book, the author slaps you with a sales pitch to sign up as an affiliate and promote his product, promising that you too can now fool innocent mouth breathers into buying this cyber garbage.
Then he clobbers you with the secret. Here it is: Sell adspace on your page to offset the cost of your ads. Voila. The book contains 7 pages of keywords you can bid on, just in case you want to put the secret into effect. You’ll also find 9 extra large testimonials selling you on the merits of the product. The author’s last effort to stave off a refund fest of epic proportions?
In fact he goes one step further in this quest. He calls anyone who doesn’t believe in the “secret” and its “power” an idiot. There is even a large picture of a man with “idiot” written on his forehead with the caption “this is you if you don’t like my book”. (that’s in my own words but it’s pretty darn close)
What do we have next? Screenshots. Lots and lots of screenshots. Hey you need some fluff and some filler or else your book would be all of 1 paragraph.
So if the author says you can accept payment for your ads from paypal, expect the page to look like this:
Paypal:

And if you need another payment processor, you could always search on Google:
But wait a minute, there was actually a Super Special Bonus that came with the book. In the author’s own words: “Super Special Bonus # 5: become an affiliate”It’s a well know fact that the introduction and conclusion are two of the most read parts of any written piece. Hammer it home where it counts!
Now this is not really all that unusual. Many ebook writers end their book with a pitch to become an affiliate.
The difference in this case is that the author pitches you for 25 pages. Yes, you read that right. Twenty. Five. Pages.
It blew my mind.
Folks, you’ve seen bad, you’ve seen hype, you’ve learned the meaning of under-deliver time and time again, but there is a new standard in the industry.
And people are promoting it. People whose newsletter I used to subscribe to until a couple of days ago.
Buyers beware; some people are taking you for complete idiots. Sadly, in some cases, that is giving you too much credit.

It’s rare that I’m struck speechless.. usually I’ve got something to say, even if it’s useless. But after reading the sales page for Get Google Ads Free, my jaw just hung open, speechless, for a good five minutes. And I had no desire in any way to actually read the book ( paid for or not ).

Haha, Leroy,
I can understand your point of view and I thought that would be mine too until several people started emailing me with “what do you think of this” sounding like they were itching to buy…
on April 25th, 2007 at 7:28 am ¶
Speechless still. Makes me wonder why I haven’t written a book like this, full of useless drivel and fluff. In fact, why am I writing this comment, I should get started on my book!

Leroy,
Please don’t unleash another of these monsters on the world

Haha I don’t think I have the heart to do it. I’d make myself sick just writing it, let along releasing it.
So the world is safe for now.

Ripoff CB Ebook - Top Seller - Watch out!
I’m sure many of you have seen the hype about the ebook that tells you a little known secret for Getting Google Ads for Free. Tons of BIG marketers are promoting it.

Hi Linda,
Thanks for your comment. Everytime I think about this book I don’t know if I should laugh or cry.

Alex,
What I cant understand is how and why so many “Gurus” are offering that garbage to his subscribers…putting their “reputation” in risk…
I received at least 6 recommendations from more than well known guys..telling me to buy it right away…
I love to read the Guru’s e-mails as I can lough a lot with so many ridiculous stuff offered…miracles, slayers, etc, etc..but this time they reached the maximum point…
Man…it’s very difficult to stay “polited” when writing about this s*9@*¨%#…
I need a drink….:-)

I was waiting for someone to blow the whistle on this one. The only good that came of it was being able to unsubscribe to any RSS that even remotely mentioned this “system” in a positive light. My daily read is that much shorter now.
After reading the sales copy for this product, I could only assume that the premise was either a) make sales to offset the cost or b) use ads to offset the cost.
All Google advertising is free if you subscribe to this logic. In fact any effective advertising of any kind is free. If you aren’t pulling in more than your paying for ads, well then you shouldn’t be buying ads.
And what’s with the sales copy about a “new england” millionaire who decided they had enough money to finally share his secret with the world. If that was the case, this would be a free ebook.
I’m so tired of the internet marketing “geniuses” regurgitating and repackaging crap and selling back to each other!

Indeed, there seems to be a trend of inbox cleansing junkiness going on these days. We’ll all be better off shortly.
Justyn: nice sales blog, reminded me the good old days.

Like you one of my mailing list sent recommended that book. When I first saw this book naturally I was curious it seems highly unlikely the Google would offer it ads free. I am glad you split the beans.
I realised a long time ago that these so called gurus after after a quick buck…that is how they have made all that money; cheating people of their hard earned money.
If it walks like a duck and quacks like one it is a duck.
At least I know who the ducks in the guru world.

Hi Carla,
The strange thing is that subscribers are ready to buy from their gurus. It’s like they’re afraid to wait a little until something actually good comes along…

My BS sensors went crazy at this first site of the sales page. Yeah, IM in some ways is reaching an all time low…a very sad state of affairs. It also shows just how many newbies there still are that can’t see through IM hype when they come across it. If there were ever a time for Aojon to wreak havoc, it’d be on this book. I’m glad I didn’t buy it.

Thanks Alex for saving me the trouble of writing about yet another piece of garbage.
I may still add my own post just to give anyone doing a search a better chance of finding a real review.

Hey guys,
@Ryan: yup, this is an all time worst.
@philmir: This thing is so poor you need to tell your readers about it. Yuck.
Thanks for your comments.

Alex,
You have absolutely no idea how grateful I am that you posted this, and THANK GOD it’s in the top 10 searches in Yahoo!….lol. Normally, I had ENORMOUS doubts about this thing, because I checked MYSELF..as he says…”..it’s so simple, you will kick your self in the head for not knowing this earlier”. He’s right about that…I would kick my self in the head, or bang it hard against the wall or my desk until it bleeds for being such an idiot!! Normally, I figured there was something really wrong because in order to get “free ads”, you have to find a way either make up the money somehow by using “Google Adwords” (not Google Adsense), or find some other way to get your money back. Both of these options are extremely difficult if not impossible for the most expert of people, unless you’re a con.
But then again…I’m always open to new suggestions and I know here and there people will find creative new ways to efficiently advertise on the web (such as SEO techniques…like some listed in my site). Which is why this thing caught my attention fast had a desire, but not intention to purchase (until I do some background work).
As a warning to all readers, almost every “how to” E-book out there in Clickbank are something you can figure out if you do some homework (via FREE resources), and use some common sense. Alex, you’re right about one thing though…people are “lazy” because they don’t take the time to actually figure out things like these on their own….and thus pay BIG TIME for their laziness. I guess, in a way, laziness does pay but mostly to other than the lazy person itself.
on April 29th, 2007 at 10:59 pm ¶
Hi Ali,
Thanks for your comment. Sometimes paying for information (being lazy) is the way to go.
Some information out there is sold under entirely false premises, like this one.
Anyways you look at it, free is supposed to mean “without paying for it”… People need to realize the internet is no more magic than any other business.
If you were offered free real estate in the pages of cheesy magazine, would you go for it?

I really DO NOT want to promote this in ANY way… but in my opinion this ebook wasn’t as bad as you make it seem here. I actually tested the techniques inside and guess what:
They Are Making Cash!
These tricks DO work… you just have to be smart at it (which you are, I have NO doubt about that).
I am not trying to bash you in any way… but I did want to clear this up. The only thing is that it doesn’t make as much money as he claims it should. After all his claims, I had higher expectations. Therefore it’s also not a strategy I put any time into, anymore. I have more important(black hat) stuff to do
). Which I’m going to do right now again!
