“Bulls Eye” Profits – New Free Adwords Report

Posted by alex On November - 5 - 2009

I’ve got something pretty cool that I put together with the help of one of my top students, and Adword whizz Bryan.  I originally gave away the Streaming CPA Profits report which got some awesome feedback.  I promised I was going to be releasing more the kind of “one strategy, make money” reports, so here it is.

How would you a sure-fire strategy for setting up laser-targeted Adwords campaigns?  The kind of stuff people are doing behind the scenes to grab extremely targeted clicks and, ever-dropping bid prices and ever-increasing profits…  What’s the coolest about this is, you can almost infiltrate any reasonable niche, and if you set your Adwords campaign with this strategy you’re going to be 10 steps ahead of 99% of your competition.  Sound good?

Here’s just some of what’s revealed inside:

  • How to find the absolute “dead center” of your market where YOU can be profitable.  This is not about competition, or anything else.  It’s about finding your slice of the pie and eating it.
  • Your foundation for building your “profit house”.  This is the whole centralized reason you must have in place before you ever dream of starting an Adwords campaign.
  • How to harvest “dead center” keywords, ranking them almost scientifically, and confirming that you have indeed found that profit bulls eye.
  • A proven strategy for structuring your ad groups and running an effective ad campaign that is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to lose your shirt on.  Awesome side effects include: Explosive CTR’s (10%-15% regularly), lower bids, and higher profit margins.
  • How to launch an Adwords campaign (the stupid-easy way) and go from build phase to a running campaign in five minutes.
  • A lot more in a strategy-packed 51 page Adwords guide.
  • Included are ad database spreadsheets that will help you pump out ads lightning quick and post them to your campaigns.

Download the report now below and leave your comments, feedback and questions.  The more feedback I get the better I feel about giving away some of my best strategies for free (there will be more on the way) ;)

On July 21st, Perry Marshall published an email conversation he had with Dr.Glenn Livingston concerning the dramatic quality score devaluation of Affiliate Review Sites containing bare affiliate links.

I interviewed Glenn on the extent of this “slap”, who it affects, how to work around it and some keys to bullet proofing your business for the future…

Click play to listen to Dr.Livingston’s enlightening answers:

Listen to the interview here

Here is the excerpt from Perry Marshall’s blog that started it all:

“I got word from several affiliate marketers that Google dropped the hammer today on affiliate review pages.   Many pages went from quality scores of 10 —> 1 overnight.
And these were NOT skinny sites, rather well build out, consistently updated blogs with good navigation above the fold, xml site maps, high click through, hyper-relevant keyword mapping, low bounce rates, long average time on page  … everything else Google loves.
When we analyzed which pages survived, and we take it in combination with other information, it seems pretty clear they’ve added code which screens for affiliate links on the landing pages.
At the moment it seems cloaking and PHP redirects are untouched, … but I can’t imagine these are far behind.  (I’m guessing they’re just avoiding this in order to decrease their server burden … takes some CPU cycles to visit every link on the page and evaluate for affiliate code)
I’d say it’s safe to conclude Google’s on the war path against affiliate review sites, and we should be advising clients towards a different business model… at minimum it seems necessary to avoid placing affiliate links on landing pages, but ideally, I think people need to move towards a deeper list building/relationship building strategy and/or a strong e-commerce model.
Time to stop “building on sand”.”

Note that Perry goes on to comment further and the article is definitely worth reading…

Here are the free Adwords Resources Glenn Livingston generously provides during the call:

- Very insightfull 90 minute presentation on negative keywords

- Quick Adwords Audio on content network secrets

- Glenn Livingston’s Blog (tons of free adwords tips)

Glenn is the CEO of Rocketclicks.com, a cutting edge search engine optimization and Pay per Click Management firm.

I will be updating this post with a full written transcript of the interview as soon as it is completed.  Thanks for sharing your comments or feedback in the box below.

Adwords: No Taxation Without Participation

Posted by alex On June - 12 - 2007

Mid June 2007. Google Slaps again. This time, it’s affiliate marketers on Adwords.

As per Google’s unwritten policy, there is no warning and no explanation.

“You’ve done something wrong. You’ve been doing it for some time. Just today, we’ve decided to inflict severe penalties on your campaigns. We haven’t emailed you because actions speak louder than words, and when you log into your account, you’ll be hard pressed to miss the fact we’ve multiplied your advertising costs by 20.”

Now have fun guessing what the problem is.

Arbitrage and MFA sites Down in Flame

Posted by alex On May - 22 - 2007

“Oh the humanity”

Herb Morrison, reporter for WLS Radio in Chicago

Uttered as the Hindenburg fell from the sky engulfed in a giant ball of flame…

Following what will become known as the “June First Email” whereby Adsense is disabling the accounts of those engaging in Arbitrage, the forums and blogs are on fire – with wannabes repeating what they heard and dramatizing something they know little about.

Away from the computer when the storm hit, I almost fell for it. Almost…

Adsense Arbitrage Exposed

Posted by alex On April - 4 - 2007

This is the introduction to a report I’m polishing off on the subject of Adsense Arbitrage. It comes out tomorrow and you can sign below to receive a free copy.

It’s estimated that nearly $1.9 Trillion are traded daily on the world’s largest market: FOREX.

An entire industry exists to exploit the spread between one currency and another. This may be the most poignant example of Arbitrage of them all.

Adsense Arbitrage: an Overview

Posted by alex On April - 2 - 2007

Arbitrage refers to the practice of buying something at one price and selling it for a higher price. In essence, you are taking advantage of the gap that exists for the same item in different markets or circumstances.

This is nothing new and examples of it are found everywhere, from currency trading right down to Adsense.

The latter is becoming increasingly popular, and with good reason. Adsense Arbitrage maybe one of the easiest ways to make money online because it requires precious few skills. None of these skills fall into the “you got it or your don’t category”.
