Paradigm Shift: Work Smart, Play Often

I just got off the phone with my mastermind group. Seems the two members present had an epiphany this week.

As a result, we’ve taken the project we were working on from the backburner and thrown it off the stove entirely.

Normally, something like that would get me pretty pissed off. I like to plan things, and I like things to unfold according to that plan. Any deviations, delays or cancelations will get you on the business end of cold stares, long silences and a big ugly piece of my mind.

Ninja Cloaker Launch

Adwords: No Taxation Without Participation

Mid June 2007. Google Slaps again. This time, it’s affiliate marketers on Adwords.

As per Google’s unwritten policy, there is no warning and no explanation.

“You’ve done something wrong. You’ve been doing it for some time. Just today, we’ve decided to inflict severe penalties on your campaigns. We haven’t emailed you because actions speak louder than words, and when you log into your account, you’ll be hard pressed to miss the fact we’ve multiplied your advertising costs by 20.”

Now have fun guessing what the problem is.

AdSpyPro, New Adwords Spy

The latest internet marketing must have is the tool that allows you to spy on your Adwords competition or just plain monitor what other people are doing on PPC.

The Premise:

You enter a bunch of keywords in the software and it checks the ads running on the big PPC networks. It finds out if these are direct ads from merchants or affiliate ads.

Best “Paid” Link Cheats for Bloggers

Until your blog becomes an “authority” that attracts links to itself by the sheer force of position and mindshare, you might want to add to your arsenal some of these paid link cheats.

Earlier this week Andy Beard posted a list of Paid Links and what they may be a direct or indirect compensation for.

The ones listed in this article are links that are “paid” for without an exchange of money and that are accessible to nearly all small bloggers and marketers.
