The Art Factor

Success in Business? There’s even more to it than hard work!

While almost all gurus, at one point or another, would have you believe that success, money and financial freedom through the internet will come easily, it’s plainly not true.

Most people would rather buy a dream than buy work. And work is what you will need if you are to get anywhere.

Definitive Guide Google AdwordsJust last night before falling asleep, I was in bed reading Perry Marshall’s Renaissance Club Newsletter. It was the second issue I had received and the first one I actually read since my time is spread so thin and I expected to put it down in 5 minutes with a yawn and yet another “so what”.

Since the report is somewhat long winded, like so many things these days, I’ve condensed the important parts here and added my two cents.

Doing More of What Works

Posted in Internet Marketing by alex on the January 7th, 2007

How much would it be worth to you and your business if you cut in half the unprofitable activities and doubled the ones that work?

A simple equation really.

I remember 3 years ago when I self-enrolled in sales boot camp. I read just about every piece of sales material I could get my hands on: Ziglar, Tracy, Schiffman; cold calling, door to door, face to face, the whole nine yards.

One thing I remember particularly well today is from Ziglar: You can double your sales if you improve 7 parts of your process by 10%.

Tell Your Prospects to Get Bent

Posted in Internet Marketing by alex on the January 1st, 2007

I have a reputation, not just online, but off as well, for being a straight talker. And that’s putting it nicely.

Blunt is probably closer to the real term I’m looking for.
