At times I was a lazy wimp pushover.  I’m telling you this because I can appreciate those rules to their fullest now.

the Introduction

If you don’t like rags to riches stories, you’ll hate this.  Personally, I loved it.  Vincent described how he saw the things he wanted.  Saw other people enjoying them and developed a mad and burning desire to have all these things.

If you’ve ever wanted something so badly you felt you could go through a brick wall to get your hands on it, this chapter will light your fire and get you in the perfect mindset to have the book work it’s magic and put you in a position to take some serious action on what it teaches.

Chapter 2:
Product Arithmetic

This chapter is single-handedly responsible for uping the scale of my ambitions.

It’s really just simple math, but when you play it out in your head, you understand what big money business is really about.

It’s not about making cash on your customer’s first purchase.  It’s about upsells and backends.

If you’re an affiliate marketer, this can give you an entirely new perspective.  If you’re just about breaking even, that’s gold and you’ll see why.

Chapter 4
Mailing Lists

Who knew there were so many crooks and scammers out there?  This chapter talks about getting the best list for your product, perhaps even fitting the product to the list rather than the other way around.

It opens your eyes as to how business is scaled into millions of dollars in monthly income.

Hey, this isn’t flashy but it’s oh so important and Vince really nails it to the point where you go in armed to the teeth.

Chapters 7 and 9
The Backend And LCV,
Lifetime Customer Value

Again, this is one of the places where I gained a piece of understanding that will allow me to make an incalculably larger amount of money in the coming years than if I had not encountered it.

The backend is what you plan on selling your customer after they have purchased your product.  Do you have another product?  Is it a consumable good on auto-ship?  Maybe a membership club that keeps money coming into your pockets every month?

The strategies Vince exposes are deviously cunning if not beautiful marketing masterpieces.  Some of them will require balls of steel but the rewards are stunning.

And what to say of LCV?  If you are not collecting names, you are missing out on nearly 75% of the money.  Every $100 sale you make could be worth $300 more.

If you can change your perspective of what a customer is worth to you in this way, you will be willing to pay much more to acquire a new one.  And you will end up tripling the money you make now or would have made without it.

Chapter 11
The Irresistible Offer

I’m sure you’ve come across on of these in your days.  An offer that’s so good you’d almost be a fool to say no.  You already had a desire to own the core product but then the vendor piled on bonus after bonus until you would have paid full price just for the extras.

It’s ridiculous how easily this can be achieved.  It will take a bit more time, a bit more effort and a bit more money but it will also increase your response to the point where every advertising dollar you spend will create 10 times it’s value in cash.

Once you setup a funnel like this, you’ll really have an auto-pilot system that has 2 simple steps: buy more advertising -  deposit large checks in your bank account.

Too many marketers are guilty on this front.  They are content with their offer being just solid.  Good enough it not good enough.  Good enough has you breaking even or making small profits, moving on to something else and spinning your wheels.
